Newbie with suspension issue.
 

Hi Folks, I just purchased a 2004 A8 with 87k on it. I have noticed that when driving on the highway and taking a left hand curve at speeds over 65 mph or so, the car becomes very unstable as if it has a very loose tie rod or ball joint. I checked the ball joints and tie rods and have found no play. I searched the forum and found references to the upper control arm bushings, but mine make no noise and I don't notice any looseness. It also acts as if there is play in the drivetrain when the transmission shifts gears at part throttle, kind of a rubbery feel during shifts. Any ideas? I appreciate any help, and am enjoying reading your posts. Thanks, Dave
