Which one you buy 03 A8 4.2 or 04 A8 3.0!
 

Hi,
My brother want to buy a used A8 , here are his options

Option 1:
2003 A8 V8 4.2 , Fully Loaded , 46,000miles , silver color

Option 2:
2004 A8 V6 3.0 , Fully Loaded 65,000 miles, White color

Both are almost the same price. the 2004 is extra clean from inside and outside.

Which one you buy if you have the option.

Hi msh, I'd say your (his) decision should almost totally be based on two factors:

1. What are gas (petrol) prices like, in your area?

2. Are your local insurance rates based on engine displacement?

Gas is not an issue and insurance is based on market value of the car. I suggested to him to go for the 4.2 , for a simple reason , he own a 2002 Audi S8 and want to replace it with the new look models, and you know how it feel to drive a 3.0 after the S8 ..

If gas isnt an issue, and insurance isn't either (market value vs. engine displacement), GO FOR THE 4.2!!! It's older, but less mileage.
