Hi all, new to the forums. I just bnought an 2004 A8L and traded in my Lexus GS300. My questions is on my GS300 when i turn the key off and get ready to get out the steering wheel would automatically raise up and out of the way. This does not happen inmy Audi. Is there a way to program this feature???

Yes, and yes! It should explain it all in yor owners' manual. But, in case you were out sick, that day... It's automatically tied to your key/remote. When you stick it in and turn it,ALL drivers-side items(Steering-Wheel/Seat/Headrest)should "autmatically" return to the last position set by the person using THAT key. Assuming you have more than 1 key/remote. Someone using another key/remote for that car will have the steeringwheel, seat-settings, and headrest return to THEIR last used settings.

 

Just a little reminder, there is a little button next to the steering position adjustment ****. That's the on/off button for that function. Make sure it's pressed down.
