Default suspension issue.

hey guys new to this forum, well i just bought an 04 a8 2 months ago and fixed many cosmetic issues. the car had about 78000 miles on it when purchased. engine and tranny have been great so far after several 3 hour trips from long island to atlantic city. the only issue the car has occurs randomly. the suspension light come on randomly sometimes flashing and sometime they stay on.. dont know what the problem is or any mechanic that can tell me what it is. the issue only seems to affect the front of the car. want advice and tips on how to figure out if it is just a leak or a larger issue. if its just the compressor than i would like to know if you guys can give me a part number and a good site to buy it from. i know it will be expensive but i want to fix it asap. also is it something that is hard to do or simple. i am also looking to do a facelift but i would like to know what is the cheapest route. thanx if there any good audi mechanics in the long island area then phone numbers and addresses to shops would be appreciated

If the suspension light is coming on randomly, then it's probably not your compressor. Sounds like you have a leak in the system, which should be diagnosed and fixed ASAP. When you have a leak, the compressor is working overtime to compensate and will burn out in short order.
