What engine's in your A8? Is your A8 also FWD, and what model year is it? What model year did the A6 trans come from?

 

Nah it's not the fwd it's 2000, 40v 4.2L and it's a quattro
I wanted to see if the 2.8L transmission and it's ecu could be worked with it
2001 VW PASSAT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CODE "EZZ" V6 2.8
should be same as the porsche,bmw,audi tiptronics in a range of years

I know it probably won't last if I pull it off but I was going for it anyway
