Default 2024 Q8 E Tron failure

Hi all - first time Audi owner. Custom ordered a fully loaded 2024 Etron, picked it up Sept 30th, drove it for 2.5 months. Racked up 6800 KM on it - things were looking good. Then one day while driving on the highway. Error message pops up "Engine Starter Malfunction" go to service centre. The yellow Key popped up. We happened to be down the road from the dealership. We brought it in - they took it. Gave us a loaner and would call us back the next day. Got the call - said there's a control module fault that controls climate, start/stop and the engine immobilizer that is faulty. This needs replacing - part come from Germany could take up to 6 weeks. The service manager has been wonderful, gave us a Q5 loaner until this is resolved so no fault there. I'm more curious if others have had this issue in their Q8s? I talked to some friends who have experienced engine turnoff while driving on the highway in regular Gas powered Q8s. As this is our first Audi and first EV - shaken our confidence a bit.

thx
