Virtual cockpit

I am looking to buy a Q5 What year did the virtual cockpit start. Is it worth getting a 2018 or do earlier models have the feature.

In the Q5 2018 model (available 2017). It was available earlier (last yr) in other model (Q7). It is worth getting, esp. in the SQ5 where there is additional functionality.

It is fun driving around with the Google Earth display with the regular monitor available for other functions. You have to spring for prestige or the NAV package.

Unfortunately no google earth in Canada. But dual maps are cool, closeup map in the drivers cockpit and regional map on the pad. I never bother with speed and revs dial, save the space for the maps!
