P0299 CEL code
Please help!
I have a 2012 Q5 2.0T 61k miles. Last week my wife took the car in to get an oil change. The dealership didn't come up with anything on the diagnostic test. I replaced the front the breaks and rotors and then we ran some errands. CEL came on within 5 miles of driving. I checked the code and it was P0299.
I have read the other P0299 posts, was positive we had the old faulty diverted valve. I ordered the new update valve. When I took the old one off the car it was the updated version, it is not cracked or broken.
I think it is just a coincidence the CEL came on after the break work.
Car is definitely low on power. I don't hear the turbo spooling like it used to.
Any ideas on what the next issue could be???

Pretty common issue with the 2.0 Turbo will most likely need to be replaced. The wastegate begins to develop play and will stop sealing. As a result it lets the boost right out and doesn't pressurize the intake. You can take off the lower engine plastic cover and see the wastegate rod. Use your hand to feel the play.
