Painted Q5 Calipers

Painted Q5 Calipers
Because the regular Q5 doesn't come with painted calipers, and the gray stock color is unattractive and lacks style, I just had to.
Since I am a DIY kind of guy I decided to Do It Myself. Using a Duplicolor caliper paint kit, it got started. Cleaning is critical, and the kit came with spray cleaner (looked and smelled like plain old brake cleaner to me), and some cheap tape and an acid brush.
I dumped the tape and the acid brush and used a higher quality 1/2" brush, 1 1/2" foam brush and good painter's tape. I final cleaned with mineral spirits.
I think it came out decent. It would have been better sprayed, but I don't have the tools for that, so there are a few brush strokes.

On the car and back a couple feet they came out pretty nice.
