Q7 alarm not chriping

Hi all, I'm having an issue with my 2013 Q7. The alarm doesn't chirp and the red light on drivers door flashes a few times than goes solid light for a while than flashes normally after I lock it with key fob. Door does not lock manually with key in lock cylinder, it unlocks immediately. The check engine light is on but not sure if its related. Has anyone experienced this before?
