I do not have the OEM cross bars for the roof of my Q7. I have the silver rails that run the length of the roof with the two spots where I would connect the OEM cross bars. I am searching the web for other options since the Audi crossbars are expensive from the dealer. However, I am confused about what to get. I see cross bars for "flush" rails, and the are many options, but I am concerned that my "rails" on not "flush" because they stick up from the roof. Anybody have a similar roof configuration and if so what do you recommend for cross bars? Thanks.

 

look for the thule 753 foot pack and connection pack, you can fit either square or aero bars to that footpack, they are about £50 for the footpack but look at ebay, you can get copies and cheaper 2nd hand versions. if you go for thule you will be ok as they are top quality but not an audi price!

 

I shopped around on ebay and found a OEM crossbar this morning for $120 Shipped! Of course i bought it! Lucky me...craigslist and everywhere else is asking $400+...My advise is to keep searching!
