Q7 2015 295/40/r21 ok ?

I have 2015 Q7 came with 295/35/R21 Pirelli P-Zero and after 15K miles time for new tires. Going with Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 but would like to get more sidewall height so was thinking 295/40/R21. The "40" is not listed as OEM but Conti makes them. Sure is plenty room in rear wheel well but not 100% sure about turning/etc. in front. Has anyone put 295/40/R21 on their Q7 ? I've done tons of Googling searches and not clear the results.
Note, my Q7 does not have the adjustable air ride option settings.

With a series tire the sidewall height goes from 4.06" to 4.65", and the overall diameter goes from 29.13" to 30.29". Take a look at your front
suspension above the tire, you will see a bolt that is fairly close to the inner sidewall of the front tires. If there is room for an additional 0.59" sidewall height, then I do not think you'll have any issues with the taller tires.

Got my 295 / 40 R21 Continetal ExtremeContact DWS06 on my 2015 Q7.
I put thru a lot of turning and up/down hill tests and is fine. No rubbing. Looks awesome !!! The Conti's have really nice ride. The 40s give a real meaty/beastie look over the 35s.

Getting the Continental tires sure is a good choice. The 40's has 5% higher sidewall compared to 35's.

I had worried about them "fitting"....ie, rubbing with the extra height. Rear wheel wells of course no concern. The issue/concern was the front wells as you turned in or out sharply, plus compression of struts/shocks. The installers checked (we had 35s on standby) and I was in garage when they installed and looked myself. They road tested.....and I did as well putting it thru forward and backward hard turns and up/down a VERY steep driveway...basically worst case scenarios......I found no issues. However, my caveat is that this is a MY2015 Q7 & it does not have the adjustable air ride feature. Thus, not sure for those other folks considering doing this that may have different MY/etc....but wanted to post this result.

Also, I had friend who is part of large national tire wholesaler and he said/confirmed that the Conti new ExtremeContact DWS06 tires are really great product. I have not had extensive driving yet but as "new" tires both on aux streets and highway (I did test at up to 70mph) they road great. I will say the Pirelli P-Zero is perhaps slightly better ride but with them wearing out at ~15K miles, versus the DWS06 having 50K mile tread warranty, it was no brainer choice. Maybe other folks can afford $1300+ a year for tires but not me. Anyway, for those considering on size concerns and ride the DWS06s seem great ride and DO fit Q7.

Still no issues with this size? Thinking about doing the same to mine soon as it appears to be tire time!

They have been awesome !!!!
No issues, no rubbing, good ride, great price compared to Pirelli...and no brainer on decent tire mileage wear vs. Pirelli.

That's great! I hate to be a burden, but could you post your ride with those tires from different angles. You're the only one I've seen do this, so just want to get a good idea of how it's going look on mine before I pull the trigger! Thanks in advance
