I installed these on my wife's Q7 and saved myself about $1000 off the factory price. I think these look better than factory, anyway. All required hardware and brackets are included; only need a couple socket wrenches. Installation took about 2 hours on a Saturday with help from my 4-year old.

Looks kool, thought I was looking at my own car. Not many Bahia Beige out there. Mostly greys and blacks. I was just on the AutoAnything site and did not find the application for the q7 listed.

 

I like the running boards and was looking at getting the nerf bars as that seems to be the only Q7 part available.
The link you have is for a Tahoe and if it took 4h you must have had some modifications or specialized tools to install?

The install only took me 2 hours. All that you really need is a socket wrench, a couple of sockets, and possibly a second adjustable wrench (or similar) to hold the nuts while you're tightening. In my case, I used an air socket wrench, but no other special tools required. The kit comes with all the brackets, nuts, and bolts that you'll need. Instructions could have been better, but I didn't have to refer to them much, anyway.

Seems that www.autoanything.com no longer lists that part on their website. I ordered them only about 2 months ago. Perhaps you can call their 800# and ask to be special ordered.

Thanks for the help haidangwa will give it a shot. Now I only need a decent roof rack (skiis, bike) again the Audi part is butt ugly......
