Remote start on 2017 Q7
 

Any rumors out there when remote start capabilities might be added to a 2017 Q7? I saw that Ford just introduced Smartlink, which allows this and other functions on 2010 and later models.

Remote start and an AC outlet are the two thing that I miss not having on my Q7 Prestige

I only know that you can install it if you want but it can be very difficult, plus you need to find someone who is really expert on this. I really would not recommend it!

Bought a 2017 Q7 and they don't offer remote start��.

I have a 2018 that is in route now from the factory, and it has the remote start. My 2016 A6 didn't have that option.

No, it did not. Not happy as I was told that it was a factory installed feature. Other than that, the 2018 Q7 is a dream to drive. Now looking at the Q8. LOL
