RE: Wow... this sucks REALLLLLYYYYY BAD@#$^%@
I had that cloth braided hose from the FPR to the manifold deteriorate and I replaced it without taking the manifold off.
It was a royal pain in the a$$. Lots of bruised knuckles and cusswords later I finally got that sucker on. I hope I never have to do
that again.
BTW, the oil distick tube breaks frequently. Mine broke twice in 3 years. The cheapest way to get it is at ECS tuning. $2.95 a piece.
I just ordered another one to have on hand just in case. Here is a link: http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/...p;engine=225HP
Make sure no plastic particles went flying into the oilpan. I usually change the oil after breakage just in case.
The Mushroom filter looks nice. Nice job on the manifold as well. Where did you find all the silicone hoses? I just replaced mine with
OEM rubber hoses which will probably deteriorate again over time.
Have a great evening!

www.hosetechniques.com is where I got the hoses.
I too replaced that vac hose from the manifold to the FPr without pulling the manifold. The problem was that the nipple on the manifold that the hose connects to came off with the hose. I ended up having to pull the manifold in order to repair it... not to change hoses. Better access to the hoses was just an added benefit.
