*New* And Got Some Questions

I just purchased my first Audi it's a TT 225 Quattro With 28,000 miles one owner. it's black with grey interior. Love the Car i have allready done the 93oct apr tune and 007 Forge Dv with neuspeed Cai. and i love it.

I want to do a gt2860r turbo and such and want to get your guys ideas on what you think of the difference it will make. also i will be doing a set of 18's and need to know if i can do 245-35-18s without minor fender mods. also which offset i should do. i have koni coilovers i bought brand new. that whe are putting on along with the neuspeed 25mm rear sway bar.

i have $6200.00 and i want to spend it right that does not include my wheels just turbo/exhaust everything else upgrade.

i also want to know if anyone knows the part list for the exhaust here

http://www.2x.ca/TT/offset/
^that will help with the width and offsets for ur wheels.
im not sure about the tire size but im almost 100% that a 245/35 will work for a 18

that exhaust... im drawing a blank on. I dont think anyone actually makes them but someone does if you call and request it (i think) someone will chime in

^I think i remember seeing that exhaust in this exhaust thread.

and there is a BT and turbo sticky for ur turby ?'s
anything else can be found in the FAQ

245 will work for the rears for sure. Just not sure if they will rub or not in the front.

well these are the wheels i want to do http://ti-wheels.com/ti17/ti17.html

and the tires http://www.kumhousa.com/Tire.aspx?id=125&cat=24

On the Calculator i put in my offset but im not understanding the info if i have 35mm offset i would need 25mm spacers and 19mm spacers for the front if thats correct then thats what i am gonna do.

myslow1 03-30-2009 02:54 PM

that width calculator is accurate so thats what you would need. I don't know if you will find 19mm spacers so you will prob want 25mm and 20mm. 1mm isn't noticeable.

those tires... snow traction = 0 :(
i take it those will be ur summer rims lol

myxyzxo 03-30-2009 02:59 PM

The calculator basically is giving you the spacer information. It is intended to let you know what size spacers you would need to make your rims flushed with the body. So even though you will be using the specified spacers. But if you noticed on the right side it says: 0.35 mm inside fender. That is letting you know that the lip of your rims will be recessed withing the wheel well by around an 8th of an inch (close to being flushed).

real quick my car is a 5x100 patteren correct "2001 TT Coupe Quattro 225"

myxyzxo 03-30-2009 03:09 PM

yes it is 5x100.. Another thing I sure hope you made sure that those rims are hub centric. If not then you'll need to buy those rings to make em work.
