I had a 2001 TTR 225 6 speed - great car - excellent Quattro - great in snow with proper tires.
Now I have 2004 TTR 250 Auto with paddle shifters.

Not only is the transmission lousy, the quattro on this seems to be part time.
I get a strong torque steer with hard acceleration, and the car loses grip on hard cornering - which my '01 never did.

Any one else out there have similar problems?
Also interested in other links to same problem.

Thanks for telling me this now i want a 00 or 01 for my first TT. why you get auto?
