I was noticing on the APR site that the stage III+ kit comes with a DP for the 180...

i thought that nobody made a downpipe for a 180 quattro and it had to be custom?

 

Nobody makes a downpipe for a 180 quattro with a ko3. It does have to be custom built.
The apr stage 3 kit is a turbo upgrade. Hence different turbo size, which means a different downpipe.
The downpipe from the stage 3 kit will NOT fit on a k03 turbo.

Edit: The stage 3+ kit is for 225s not 180s.

Yea. thats the same problem I just had. If I get a downpipe made right now for my 225 with K04, I'll have to get ANOTHER downpipe again when I go big turbo because the downpipe is turbo-specific

 

just not for the atc equiped cars (2000-early '01 models)

Yea... I was just browsing and saw a 180 downpipe. I dont have a 180 so I didn't give it much thought.

 

so cincy.... if my dream came true and i got the apr stage III+ it would work because i have an 02 correct??

i know an exhaust as well as internals have to come first and i think a fmic too... but if all goes my way it can be done?

 

You shouldn't need internals for the APR kit. As far as i know anyway. Im sure it wouldn't hurt anything though.
