2000 audi tt hard shifting can anyone help?

So, I've done a bit of research and it says multiple things could be the problem. but yesterday I started just looking for a cause for the problem and here's what I noticed..

The problem.. It becomes hard to pull out of gear and shift once you start to reach past 3000 rpm's the higher the rpm's the harder the shift. now I put gear oil in it and it made a slight difference in the pulling out but still is really hard to shift past 3k rpms in 1st gear and gets easier as you go through the gears.

So I was going to drop the transmission and look at the clutch but after I took off the tires I started going through trial and error and would accelerate and shift through the gears while have the car jacked up. and without the tires It shifts COMPLETELY NORMAL all the way up to red lining it. does anyone know what could cause that? I put the tires back on the front and the problem came right back.

I would purchase new cables and shifter bracket,

It was hard for me to shift into 1st and 2nd and would always would grind, then one day i just flat out didnt have 1st or 2nd anymore, after replacing the transmission it ended up just being the bracket, the threads on it were stripped where it turns.
