Default 2002 TTR stopped connecting to OBD2

Hey Guys,
About a year ago i bought 2002 Audi TT Roadster with 6 Speed. No problems with a car at all.
Recently check engin light came so took it to autozone came up with vacuum leak. Fixed it and at the same time got Timing belt replaced.
Right after that check engine light came up again this time "speed sensor" speedometer works ESS works too, the only thing doesnt work is cruise control.
I have a Bluetooth OBD2 reader that cant connect to the car I was able to use it before...-works with other cars fine.
Took it to Autozone it worked couple times - now cant connect. They were able to pull codes with engine off but not anymore.
Professional scanners cant connect as well.

Back Tracking...
Also replaced brakepads
Had both door trims off to fix "trim issues". First had driver side off then passengers side.

Please help. I am running out of options and I need to pass emissions too.

I have the same problem. Searches say #12 or #15 fuse on left end of dash. Didn't work for me. Did anything fix yours?

Default It gets worse:

The nearest dealer for me is 208 miles, they quoted $225 for duplicating a key. I was disconnecting the battery to clear the CEL and then resetting the radio code. Now I have to reset the code every time I start the car and the battery goes dead every 3-4 days because it thinks I'm stealing it? Let me know if you come up with any way to get rid of this problem. I saw a ECU relay on EBAY, I might try that too. If Audi fixes yours, make them explain why it does this and how they fix it. I've seen several posts about the OBD2 quitting, but no solutions.
