I've been thinking about getting the Rieger front bumper with the S8 grille for a while but there's just something about the S8 with our MKI headlights that i'm just not sure about. Thats why i wanted to do a whole front end conversion. Hood, headlights, grille, fenders, and bumper from an 08 to my 2000 TT...
I've had friends that has done headlight and tail light conversion and some come out looking clean but some just doesn't flow very well..
Alot of VW golf and jettas swap front ends all the time.
I've had other friends that has done front end conversions from Integra, civic, and del sols. The hood bolts up and the radiator suport is swapped out to hold the headlights and bumper. The only hard part is the fenders because the part of the fender close to the door is original and the front part of the fender is of the front end that you're converting to. Just cut them in half and merge them together in the cleanest way posible.
This is the way that i'm thinking might work.
Question is has it been attempted yet, do you think it would look good, and does anyone know a web site that i can order factory 2008 audi TT body parts?
Here's my car right now

Here's the front end i want =)

If you look at the fenders and hood of both cars i think its posible and i think the body lines will still flow very well... I just wanted to get a few more opinions.

2000 Audi tt with the Rieger front and A8 Grille... It looks good but i just think the 2008 front would look so much better

1998 Honda Civic with Lexus IS300 headlight conversion... Hood, bumper, and fenders has to be cut and extended on this one.

Honda civic Front end on a Honda Dels sol... Main modification went to the fenders.

That would be an interesting conversion...I guess you'd have to analyze the dimensions etc. Might be able to find some parts off Shokan Coach Works.

If you're on air, get some bigger wheels, dammit! While those wheels look good, when you slam em they look like they came off a BMX bike.

RE: 2008 front end on 2000 Audi TT?
If they would just make a kit I would get it. I love the front end on the new TT's but I prefer the rear end of the MKI.
I believe you could do it but alot of custom work would be involved. The hoods are different and I would assume the lines/length and width would be too. With enough money anything is possible but we all know that.
