Default ABS/Traction Control erratic behavior

I'm having issues with my ABS/Traction Control engaging while I'm driving and I'm not applying the brakes. The car feels like something is coming apart under the hood when this happens and the traction control/ABS light comes on. After this happens, the ABS/Traction control lights stays on but the noise goes away. I have taken the Audi TT to the local Volkswagen Dealership (since there's no Audi dealership in my area) and later to the an Audi dealership 175 miles away but no one can solve the issues that I have. It has gone through the diagnosis tests I'm not sure if this problem makes the vehicle unsafe to drive.

If anyone out there in Audi land has experienced an issue like mine, please let me know how the problem was solved..........thanks!

more than likely need one of these, they are expensive new, but plentiful used, they deteriorate over time though because of how they are made so, it's not guaranteed how long a used one will work for you

I had the same issue with mine, i think i broke the abs sensor while doing the coilover install, i press my brakes when i come to a stop and my pedal feels like its crunching almost, either the lights will come on and stay on and it will drive fine or when pull from that stop the ABS light flashes and it feels as if my brakes are being compressed
