Talking ACHTUNG!! I'm coming back to the forum, in the market for another MK1 TT

Hey folks, long time no see!

I'll be shopping until I find the perfect TT, but I'm finally coming back! I'm looking for a Brilliant White 2002-03 MK1 225 Quattro MT6 Coupe with black interior and around 50K miles.

I've seen a couple of them go by in the recent months before I had the cash together (I'm buying it outright).

Anyway, while I'm pretty good with these cars, I've got to take a refresher on all parts, maintenance issues, etc. Feel free to remind me of what to watch out for (i.e. cluster, haldex, timing system, etc).

Looking forward to rejoining the group

Go to the FAQ. That is better than nooks telling you what's up

lol, agreed. This thread is more just an excuse to say hi to some old acquaintances (if there are any left)

WIN.

Its a sad state that the TT section has regressed to. Not allowed to have any fun anywhere but the OT section (apparently), so it went dead.

Looks like you remember all the problem areas. Remember... timing belt at 60K, past that, and you're driving a grenade waiting to go off...

Haha, glad to be coming back! I see that this section is lame as hell now, but perhaps we can revive it with some of my fun plans and the threads that will no doubt ensue
