Default Adding Spoiler to 2000 TT

Anybody gone this route with their 2000? I like the factory style that came on the later model years and have seen it on ttstuff.com for $500 unpainted. How much work is needed to mount it and how much did you guys end up spending? Basically, I'm look for any suggestions from those who have done this or have looked into this sort of modification. Thanks.

Chris

I've added a spoiler to my 2000 TT, and it onyl cost me about $250 for everything including installing it. I ordered it from ebay and it came painted already to match the color of your car. here is the link.

You may want to call a dealer and see if theres any open recalls on your car. There was an optional recall for the tt's which incuded replacing some suspension componants anlong with the rear spoiler. If the recalls open the dealer can install the parts for free. Not sure what options theyd have if the original owner declined the recall. It was supposed to correct handling issues at extreame speeds and only had to be done if the customer wanted it done.
