Anyone have a Revo SPS

Anyone have a Revo SPS
I have a question for the guys that have a Revo Tune and also one of their SPS Modules.
I bought the SPS3 Module and today I tried to play with the settings a bit and I couldn't get
it to work. I followed the instructions to the letter. Turn on Ignition, wait 10 Seconds, set
the SPS to your desired settings, insert the SPS into the OBD II port and wait for the beeps,
then remove. Well, I am waiting and waiting and there aren't any beeps.
I tried different settings but without any success.
I did change batteries today. Do you think I lost my REVO programming all together when
I unhooked the battery???
Or maybe I only have a faulty SPS module?
Thanks for any input!

RE: Anyone have a Revo SPS
Hey CL,
Yup, it's a little plastic Box with 2 Dials. You can dial in different performance options and then
plug it in your OBDII Port and wait for a beeping noise then remove the Box and you are all set
for the new settings. The SPS 3 lets you adjust Boost, Fuel Air Mixture, Timing or just go to the Basic
Stock Setting, a General Basic Performance setting and an Anti Theft Protection that when active will
not let anyone start the car including you even if you have a key. Pretty slick but not cheap.
I think mine is broken since I can't get it to confirm or BEEP. The basic Performance setting is still active
because I can tell the difference from stock but I can't get the SPS 3 switch to work.
Time to send it back for either a refund or a unit that works.

RE: Anyone have a Revo SPS
Got the replacement SPS 3 unit in and it works like a charm. The first one must have been defective but this one confirms the
programming almost instantly. Very Nice! I am glad I went with the SPS 3 Module. A lot more ways to fine tune the car.
I can use any gas at any time even the cheap stuff (Not that I ever would) all the way up to Race Gas setting and agressive Boost.
For now I will keep it at the 93 Octane setting with the standard Performance boost setting and keep the timing at setting 5.
Very nice and I recommend this to anyone. The Revo tune without a SPS switch is almost like a computer without a keyboard or software.
Expensive investment but well worth it IMHO.
Car runs like a raped ape without any lag. Just wants to run. It should've come that way from the factory.
