Audi Clutch Plates

Hi All,

I have Audi TT and assuming that Clutch Plates are screwed up. When I drive the car, its not going fast but its just raising (RPM). One of my friend told me that its problem with the clutch plates.

Did anyone have this problem before ?
Which is the best place to make it repair ? (Dealer or third party)
What could be the approximate repair charges ?

Any ideas would be really appreciated.
thanks,
--Yellisetti

Not sure what you are calling the clutch plate, but your clutch disc is bad. You need to change your clutch asap or it will just fail and you wont be able to transfer power at all.

any repair center is a no no, make sure they are reliable... and dealer tends to rip people off... pricing, like 500 for install and 800 for parts maybe... thats my guess, im thinkin 1-1.5k for the job

Just find a reliable shop and bring them the clutch you want to run. Just make sure you replace everything while you are at it.

Hi All,

Does anyone have any idea about the Extended Warranty ?.
