Replace all your bushings with poly bushings. Seriously. It's a different car. I posted about this a week or so ago. Main thing is the a-arm bushings. Returns the car to a more precise state, aka, pre-recall. If you did your a-arms, and put a strut tower caster/camber kit on the car, and poly bushings on the rear control ams, it'd probably cost you $500, and your car won't act as front heavy as it is, it'll actually turn when you move the wheel.

I had wintermute drive my car, but he wouldn't get on it hard, but he did notice a more responsive feel, and we didn't break 45mph I don't think. I was hoping for a good comparison between stock and what I've done. Since I didn't do it all at once, the changes have been smaller, and I've got used to each one before the next piece was added. Stepping from one car to the other makes for a black/white comparison.

If you are looking for power I am going to have to say down pipe.

I too am thinking about what to do. If it is exhuast, it's $1k for DP installed, otherwise $600 for 3" mandrel cat-back custom made with SS locally. Which would be more beneficial?

ORIGINAL: ltsheets

hello all. I think i'm gonna use Bush's $600 plus some of my good hard cash to do another upgrade on my TT. I've already got an aftermarket intake, BOV, and wheels (being shipped) and i'm already planning on chipping the car in the next week or so, so for the purpose of this thread, consider it already on my car. so my main question is, if you had 1000 to spend and already had what i have on my car done, what would be your next upgrade to get the most performance increase for that money...best bang for the buck if you will.
What's your base car? 180, 180Q, or 225Q?

Assuming 225Q with mods listed already, add Boost Machine or TurboXs HPBC (~$150), water/meth injection (~$340), Neuspeed 19mm rear sway (~$190), Autometer Boost Gauge (~75), ModShack Vent Gauge Mount (~$35), gas money.

OR...Haldex Blue Controller.

If you are a 180 fwd...let us know.

For power you have to get a turboback. Since you just got wheels, im going to have to say you are going to want to drop it and get rid of ww gap

Yes turbo back exhuast is a must, but if you were to do a piece at a time, which piece would be best? The cat-back, or the 42DD?

The downpipe will be better to replace first.

I still think all that power adding is a waste if your car doesn't stick to the road like it should.
