easy answer NO, but if you dont have a chip, you cant/shouldnt up the boost.

cincy... since you are here, ifI do the diode mod instead of the chip, andI get a 4 bar FPR with it, and swap it with the stock3bar,canI take the boost higher than initially recommended in your little write up?
If yes how muchhigher?...

I dont know anyone that has tried it on a 225 before. Not sure how it would work. I would reserve the test mule to someone else or give it more time before you attempt it.

shouldI be the first one?.... if you get 20psi on the mk03... what do YOU think I should aim for on my stock mk04 with the 4bar FPR?... what's the max?

20psi will be fine, its you controlling boost that worries me. You might get a CEL (if not limp) because you just pinned your ecu to seeing 11psi and thats below requested. Thats my beef. Dont really think it can be done unless a 4.4v diode exist. That MAY work.

did a search, dont think they exist. You can look more for a 4.4v zener diode if you like

then shouldn't itbe mentioned that the diode mod is not for 225's? since there's no DIODE for us?
just a thought. It is still an awesome mod (performance/money) even thoughI won't get to do it on my beautiful car.
thanks a lot for all your feedback cincy.
