Default Boost Displayed on dash

I have seen a couple of photos going around the Internet where people have found a way to have the dashboard show your boost instead of what CD track you are playing or what radio station you are at. Has anyone else seen this, or know how this is possible?

I would agree with that. Especially given the data rate of the EFU. Still a very nice piece of technology, though. I use the boost gauge the least, there are many other functions.

What year is your TT? I always thought this was only for use with 2001 or older TTs

Thanks MCPaudi that was exactly what I was looking for. I was browsing through the web site of the step by step instructions and my only question is, has anyone done this? I see he ran the harness that came with it in between the OEM radio harness and the OEM radio, I want to know If you have to have the factory radio to do this or can I just run those in-line with my aftermarket radio harnesses?

"He" is my - that is my install.

I think you can run it without the OEM radio, but obviously you won't be able to view the station info in the screen. What this module does is intercept the signal that the radio puts on the screen, and inserts its own data. If the radio isn't there, it still "injects" its data stream.

As mentioned above, this is only functional on car built before (I think June) 2001.
