Default Boost issue in 225, swooosh jet air sound normal ?

Hey there,
I have an audi tt 225 and I think I may have some sort of problem.

Is it normal to hear an air sound when accelerating ? Lets say im in third gear and I floor it, first comes the whistle, and then a loud SWWWOOOOOOSSSHH sound. Like air, I don't really know how to explain it. Sounds like a jet taking off.

To be completely honest Idk if this is normal or not. I think I lost a little acceleration too.

Could this be a leak in the piping or something ? I can't seem to figure out what it is. I looked for holes or tears but I can't find anything. Should I buy knew piping for the turbo ? idk whats the issue. It seems to accelerate in 1st 2nd nicely, but then half of third is nice, and the air sound comes on, and i feel fourth is a little sluggish.

I believe this occured after I chipped it with the unitronic tune. Anyone know the problem ? Or even if I have a problem.

I'm so confused I tried switching the diverter valve for a new one and everything. Same thing.

I actually just googled my *** off trying to find the problem, and I believe I found something identical to what I have. This sucking noise, jet engine sound ....

I never noticed the hesitation until now. I'm not quite sure what to do now. What new pipes do I need ?

Might very well be the turbo inlet hose collapsing. Wish I could find it again, but at one point I saw a video some manufacturer/retailer had of the stock pipe sucking shut at high revs. pretty wild.

Yeah dude, if your not running a stock tune, don't run a stock turbo inlet pipe. The rubber is weak. Just make sure you get the right tip per your engine code.
