Boost Machine vs. TurboXS HPBC
Title says it all. From what I have read in MANY posts, they both virtually do the same thing. Turbo seems to spool up faster, and you can actually set what you want your vehicle to boost at, for instance 22 or 24 psi. Any advantage or disadvantage from buying either?

they are both fine. turboxs is smaller and better in my opinion.
|
better...how so?
|
well... its smaller... far less vac hose used... (boost machine you gotta run some hoses, turboxs you can plug into existing hoses)...
and once again, smaller, and boost machine adjustments seem qwerky... turboxs you need a small alen wrench and 2 fingers.. HOWEVER, at the end of the day they both do the same thing. |
The turboxs you can run it by itself and will work with all chips. The BM you have to find a place to mount it, run more vac lines and keep the n75 which can be more or a hassle. If you still run the engine cover the turboxs will be completely hidden and take all of 30 sec to install and 5-10mins to set.

Plus the TurboXS is made/engineered by a company with some true know how and R&D into F/I. The boost machine was built by a backyard enthusiast, not that there is anything wrong with that because I love my 42DD downpipe. It looks as if the thing was pieced together out of the Home Depot plumbing section and it costs substainly more than the TurboXS valve.
It would be an easy choice for me.... $150.00 MBC made out of plumbing parts put together by an ethusiast? I would opt for the $85 MBC that are used on many a track car and engineered by a known company with a good reputation. |
turboxs hpbs ordered. period. will contact for more instructions on psi and such when its here.
