bottons, knobs and switchs...WTF!!!!!!!!!!!
only gripe i have with the interior of my car is the covers for the cd changer and the first aid kit. The latches don't latch much, so once they start to wear, bumps make the covers open. Everything else in the car seems very solid, and I don't see any real obvious reason for them to break.

I beg to differ, Im barely touching these bottons...if anything because im new to them....these buttons and switchs are starting to come off as cheaply built, hell even my C240 which a bottom of the line mercedes benz feels better built inside... now speed handling...etc the audi wins hands down...
i'm just still very disapointed in the quality of these controlls.

You may be light on them, but what about the previous owner? Parts wear out, it's a fact of life.
I agree - besides the glitches in the "operation" of said buttons - mine has worked pretty good. As for me, mine was used with 32k miles on it - owned by 2 others before me and the one before me was only 19 - I think his grandma bought it for him... but that's another story...
Like Xclr8TT sez - these are used cars... now if you are the original owner that's another thing, but I've yet to read about any in this forum - but I'm sure there are some...
