Default Brembo or Wilwood?

I'm going to upgrade my brakes and was wondering if anyone has either kit installed on their car? Feedback please?

I've ran both, not on this car but in cars past, I choose Brembo over the Willwoods. The willwoods are great though and I can't dog them, it's just a matter of personal preference on the Brembo's. I DID experience brake fade on the Willwoods on stateside tracks and backroads, it was Far superior to my stock brakes though. However, on my Brembo setup on my heavy *** Mustang on the Nurenburgring = 13.1 miles of hell, I didn't experience fade on 3 straight laps, to put that in perspective, my stock brakes were gone by about the 5th turn on the track.

Brembo for the Win, if your a weekend warrior and not to serious, the Willwoods will work though

I'm not a racer. I just want better stopping than the stock brakes. I had Wilwoods on a Miata that I built and it was a very nice setup. The car stopped much better than the stock pathetic brakes. The TT doesn't have the worst brakes I've ever driven, but my S4 has very quickly soured me on the brakes on my TT.

I would recommend just some stainless lines and hawk or Green stuffpads then, 225 brakes are no joke, there really is no need to upgrade for you. I'm not even putting brakes to the top of the list on mine and I will race mine at least about 30 days this summer season. I expect to replace them after this season though, maybe even a few sets of rotors this season as well, fronts for sure, rears may make it though as they only have about 800 miles on them

Rotor's wilwoods - 2 peice brembo - 1 peice
Cost wilwoods - $950 for solid rotors $1050 for drilled and slotted brembo - ~$1300 (cant remember)

The rest are about the same, stainless lines, 4 piston, and high temp pads.

my choice

Also you can get $200-300 for your stocks to recoup some of the cost.

I never gave a thought to the fact that someone might want my 225 brakes. Good point. Yeah, the 225 brakes aren't bad, but I just want a more. I was going to go the route of hawk pads and drilled rotors to dress it up, but I really want it to stop like I hit a wall the way my Miata did and my S4 does.
