Car Shifts but doesn't move!
Hello everyone, glad I found this forum!!
I just purchased a 2000 TT , the trucker delivered it today and as I put in first gear, the car shifts but doesn't move an inch!, there is no odd sounds or anything. He delivered it actually with a dead battery and said that he tried to jump start it but it didn't start.... did he mess anything by trying to jump start the car? I put in a new battery anyways and the car starts (though the fans do not work at al, but that's another story!) any help would be much appreciated.

If its not the clutch.
Is it a quattro?... If it's FWD make sure your cv joints are still in good shape... once one brakes, the other one does also...instantly(from previous experience)... i doubt this is the case since there is no noise coming from anywhere... idk just a thought.
