Default CD Changer

My 2004 TT's CD changer is whack. Was working intermittently and now just cycles through the disks, then spits out an error. Wondering how to clean it too; I put a cleaning disk in, but the changer does not recognize it....any thoughts?

I don't know how to help you fix it, but I do have a Cd changer I could sell if you can't fix it.

If the need arises, feel free to pm me!

yeah, you just need a Deep 17mm socket (from SEARS, others aren't deep enough)
and a torx set.
you remove the driver side rear seatback (pull out the rear cushion first)
then remove the strike pin (where the seatback latches in) with the deep socket.
Start prying the panel with the speaker grille off. Give it a good yank and the metal clips will let go. (scariest part) then just unbolt the cd changer from its bracket!
