cd player installed,now this err 2
 

finally got cd player installed in 2001 tt roadster,it turns on but won't play,dispays err 2 on stereo,anybody know what this is.

I think err 2 is disc in backwords or dirty.

ERROR 1 = cant read cd
ERROR 2 = dirty laser lens
ERROR 3 = mech. malfunction (like a disk stuck)

I think thats how 1 + 2 go. kinda seem like the same problem more or less, but i dont have my manual around to confirm

err1 cd backwords,err2 dirty laser lens,that's all it was,thanks for the info.

i get an err2 when ever i play one of my cd's and i get an err1 whenever i play some other cd. it works with other cds, but im completely confused. i have to do more testing or somethin

an help?
