Try the greenspring with a shim or 2 and find a new mbc. That one took a dump on him a couple weeks ago and others never even got it to work for them. [:@]

it was boosting to 17psi and holding at 15 with the yellow (but it had the stuttering / jerky motion sometimes ~4k-5k. rpm). It felt like I was going in and out of boost - it had that jerky motion like when you first learned how to drive a stick, but only at higher speeds. lol.

it is now boosting to 15 and holding ~13 with green + 2 shims with the same setting on the MBC and it feels sigificantly slower. I wish I knew how it was supposed to work, so I could better describe what it isnt doing. With the green spring, its a smooth ride. With the yellow spring, I could really feel the boost kick in and the car took off under boost.

I am going to go read up on DV's and figure out how they work, so i understand why its doing this. I'm not too keen on turbo systems or cars, but I'm learning at light speed.

how much do u want for the MBC?

100 dollars i know you can get a new one for 120 but mines like new if i cant get that ill keep it until i can you might just play with your settings on the dv and the boost controller what you want is high boost with super quick dv open close action and no jerkiness may take a while to get perfect

how is that compared to the TurboXS HPBC? you think its the cheap MBC that gives my car the jerky boost?

The turboxs is much better but that one fits your budget and is from a name brand (others even charge $75+ for the same thing). The mbc you have now is inconsistant and isnt very tunable.

Just noticed its used. But i have seen them sold for $45 shipped with a differnt name on them.

okay, its not a jerky ride - it is misfiring. what would happen if i am pushing beyond the limits of the stock FPR (i dont have a 4 bar) - would it misfire due to being starved for fuel?

I am not sure what to do.. lol.
