Hey everybody Im a new member here this is my first post, just wanted to say whats up and to ask for some advice, I just recently bought a 00 Audi TT, I have owned audi's before, I owned an A4 before this, but yeah i bought it for 18k and it only had 18k miles on it, so i think i got a prett good deal but anyways its amulet red hardtop quattro 5 speed, the problem i am having is with the sensor/computer or something, my temp gauge stays at cold the whole time and then my fuel gauge bounces back and forth, i will have a half a tank in my car and it reads 1/4 tank...just stupid stuff like that, and the worst thing is my odometer reads more miles than i actually drive...i tested it out to see if i was right and i drove for 80 miles and it put 150 miles on my car :\ I have no idea what in the heck is goin on? any advice as to what i should do??? or what the problem could be

 

Sounds like the dash pannel insert has melted, youll need to take it to a dealer so they can run final contol diagnosis on it to confirm and then fit a new dash pannel. This needs to be done by the dealer as the immoberlizer codes are stored in the dash pannel and they will need to connect it to the intronet to program a new dash to your keys.
