Confused about brake pads
Ok I ordered new brake pads because the OEM pads are just too dusty...and I ordered Mintex MDB 2041.

I just got them today, but I am confused as they do not have a wear sensor cable similiar to this:

Am I supposed to have this cable? Or do I use the cable on my current brake pad?

If you have sensors and the new pads dont. You just loop the wires to make the connection and the light goes away.

Its a loop of wire imbedded in the pad, as the pad wears down, it eventually wears thru the wires, causing a short, which reads as an idiot light telling you its time to change your pads. You can't 'take' the wires from the pads.
They do make them with and without the sensor, and I wouldn't be suprised if someone mixed up the order.

Its seriously not a big deal. You can just check them every oil change. Not to mention you will start hearing a squeek when they are low. Its really not a huge deal.
