has anyone ever done a complete coolant flush? i have helped my buddy with his supra but not really sure about the audi. does it have a coolant drain plug? we installed one of those prestone universal easy drain systems and hooked it up to the heater hose and radiator hose. so all u have to do is hook a hose to that and undo the radiator cap and presto!! flushed out(of course while letting the engine run)

 

Never done it. If you had it done professionally, would they flush your system with distilled water? Thats my big worry, crudding up my coolant system with mineral deposits from the hose.

 

no, we just hooked up a garden hose while letting the engine run and undid the raditor cap and expansion tank cap . then we mixed his coolant with the distilled water. and filled her up. i've been trying to find the radiator cap on the tt but no luck so far.(i dont think it has one)

 

no, it doesn't have one.

If you flush your car with hose water, you'll still have hose water in it when you go to refill the system, won't you?

 

seems like you would but???? how would you flush the TTs coolant system? looking in my bentley manual.
