Default defrost vent cover removal help

I'm trying to remove the defrost vent cover on the dash. Can someone tell me how it comes off? I don't want to brake the plastic piece. I don't see any screws inside it and think it is one of those pop lock things audi likes to use, but I don't want to pull to hard or in the wrong spot and brake the cover.

This is the set of 2 in the center of the dash.

thanks

The vent goes vertical, at the top and bottom of the vent is sort of oval. You can pop those off and be able to remove the center part of the vent. The top and bottom piece is what actually holds the whole vent piece onto the dash.
