Default Diesel Geek TB kit reviews?

Has anyone used this kit?

http://www.dieselgeek.com/servlet/Detail?no=476

Local shops (tuning and audi dealers) are quoting me 1300$ approx for the belt, tensioner, pump et all. Yet only 500$ for labour (tuning shops at least). If the quality of this kit is up to par with what I would expect from the dealer then I am looking at a significant savings of about 400-500$ , which is nice

It would kibosh the usual 1 year , 20k warrenty you get when using a shops parts , but hey, thats no different then doing it yourself, right?

Any suggestions, comments?

Im pretty sure that Audi is not changing them for free but they are reimbursing you if they fail early. The will inspect it, then tell you to get it done but you still have to pay.

If I am wrong please correct me..

You are not wrong. Get the DG kit, it is a good one. If you don't get a DG, DO make sure you get one with a metal impellor on the waterpump (which the OEM is NOT!).

It a class action lawsuit, and the odds of you qualifying are next to nil. Plus, to qualify, you need to wait for the belt to break. You are MUCH better off changing it every 60k miles, as it should have been rated, and NOT wait to destroy your engine first.
