i hate to say this but the only good thing about a honda is the engine. I wouldnt want anything else from the car. The heads will outflow any 1.8t evena aeb that has been ported and polished. This makes a huge differnce when it comes to performance. Vtec was originally desined to be a fuel saver and has be altered to a mojor power adder. I have seen a dyno of a stock tsx in import tuner and when vtec kicks in the total hp jumped strait up 20hp add that with high compression and you have a nice 90-100/liter N/A engine. Now you can see why some toyota mrs (newer mr2) take out their engine for a k-series motor. Plus i dont know if anyone has seen it yet but the hks fit that has a stroked k24 pushing 2.6L and running a gt2830r turbo and nitrous putting down 600+whp... not to shabby.

Man I leave for two days and these dang rice lovers come out of left field. Well lets just say that I havent found a S2000 that has beat me yet, I have raced 3 so far including one on the auto X track. Ya come on get real... you have to beat the hell out of that poor little engine to make any kind of power, its like racing a tiburon its only fun/close if you give them 100ft. I would take a Acura NSX if I could find one of those but then not even I like the new S6, ya know the station wagon thats putting about 550+ to the ground. Haha talk about a sleeper... No but in all seriousness "ricecars" are ok, if you need something that everyone else has, that when you mod it its gona crap out on you in three years and then your screwed but hey at least you can go pick up another one just down the road. I will stick with my european cars, I'm thinkin the Lotus Elise is gona be my next buy in a couple of years, ya I know its got a toyota engine in it.

It's in the current issue of European Car, very sweet car.

One of the instructors in the Golden Gate Audi Club brings an Elise to the track events. It belongs to his mother, so when we go through the introductions he always says "My name is Ian... I'm driving my mom's car."

I dont know, I think you guys are being pretty ignorant about Japanese cars. I have owned a honda for a few years now, and its been the best car I have ever had. Dead reliable, fast, good looking, good interior, and fun to drive. I agree that its hard to put anything but the s2k/NSX in a sports car category, but I dont think that really matters. I dont know that you could put any VW/Audi (R8 exception) into the sports car category either. Even the TT. In my mind, if you want to talk about a real sports car, it should be RWD (not FWD like my honda, or wannabe AWD like the TT), and it should have more than 200(like my Prelude, stock) or 225(like the 225 TT, stock) HP. I mean even the S cars from Audi are just maxed out versions of their pedestrian car line, none of them are designed to be real sports cars to start with. That being said, I just hate to see when one group or the other gets all defensive and pissy about the other group. I have seen it on the Honda end also, with people bitching about German made cars and calling them crap. I really believe that both countries make pretty comparable vehicles, although they both have a much different approach. And dont take my comments about Audi/VW as disrespect, as I am serioulsy considering selling my Prelude for a TT. And for the record, nobody likes the ricer kids who paint their car yellow and make it loud.. Even Honda fans like myself cant stand those little bastards.

We have a loaner car for my mercedes, this honda accord that is fully loaded is a peice of **** compared to my mercedes and audi. Sure as **** doesn't drive anything like any of my bmw's. I'm sorry but this 03 honda accord fully loaded feels cheap, rides cheap..and is slow as *****.

Hondas are nice cars if your looking for an economy car. Once you own an audi for awhile you'll laugh at honda's...I havent owned a honda since i was 17. There is a reason for that.

Once you go german, its like banging a REALLY hot blonde.... you wont be ******* fat girls anymore...even if you are desprate. .... so once you go german...you wont even buy a honda if your dead broke... you'll hold out.
