Diverter and N75

Hello, i'm a new guy here and have a few questions about a diverter valve and N75 valve for my car. I just got a 2001 225 with around 57k miles on it. It is totally stock right now.

My buddy toatled his GTI (I believe it was a 2000 - 2002? somthing around there) and took out most of his performance parts. The other day he gave me a few things when I saw him and he said that they would probably work in my car.

One was a ECS Tuning N75 valve. The other was a Forge Diverter valve. He said that the diaphram in itwas cracked, but I could buy new ones for pennys. It came with 3 springs, a yellow, blue and green I think? (I have the parts at my other home). It does not have any other markings on it that I can seeto tell me a model number or anything like that.

So my questions are, will these parts 1. work in my car 2. workwhen it is bonestock 3. benifit me in any way?
If anyone can help me out a little I would appreciate it very much. Thanks for reading!

Both will work, however their is no point in running the n75 race valve until you are chipped. The valve sounds like a forge race dv. its the only one i know that comes with a diaphram. If you contact forge, they will send you one for i believe free (comes with lifetime warrenty). It will also work and needs the green spring installed when you do install it. Neither will really gain you anything unless the stock one isnt working.

I heard you can gain an additional 2psi and smoother transition runing the n75 after being chipped.

i gained a few psi with the n75 but it runs just as smoothly as it did before i bought it. i got the revo tune first, and the n75 just enhanced that boost a bit. good cheap mod.

Not bad for free...I just use a Hallman's MBC instead of the N75 and set it to what I want it at myself.
