doing clutch job on 225 quattro 1.8T, are there any write ups or any info?
so i am doing a clutch job on my 1.8T tt quattro. i can do a standard mk4 jetta\gti in 4hrs but this one i am at 3 and havent even got to drop the tranny yet. is there any write ups or any info regarding this? seems like there are so many bolts and brackets hiden and not to mention the hard to get bolts for the rear driveshaft that is a pita. thanks in advance

not much as far as write-ups out there. I would have made one when we were doing mine but I was under a time deadline so I couldn't.
and yes its a lot of work involved, have fun... that tranny does not like to come out of the car. If you don't have a bently or ALLdata and your stuck, I suggest geting one... ALLdata would be my suggestion, so much better than the bently when it comes to the clutch job.
