Default DTM TTz!

I seen a picture if a dtm tt with its hood off. And to me it looked like a V6? Do they all run the 3.2's?? And it seems like they don't have all the sensors and crap!

Does anyone here ever rip that crap out? So u just have an engine/turbo/ic. No sensors and wires going all over hell???

I want a DTM tt. :-(

Do believe its a V8. Since its a race car, they dont need all the extra sensors and crap everywhere (mainly emissions stuff).

Think you are talking about people shaving the bay some?

Ooo I like that!!! To me that looks way better than any engine cover u could get!

Do u think the people that do it mess with the ECU so the CEL doesn't come on? Or just live with CEL?

They have the tuner like tapp and uni remove the sai, n249, n115, cat, etc codes from setting of codes. Uni now has a mafless file that allows you to have traction control.

They also build from the ground up with the roll cage and what knot. And not take a new tt and strip it down.right?
So its pry easier taking a naked engine and put what u want on it then taking off what u don't need!

Might have to find a crashed up tt and build a race car!!!
