Hey guys, I figured I'd share this find with you. I got these EBC rotors and EBC Green Stuff pads, front and rear, for $450 via a 10% discount (today only) and free shipping.

These rotors seem pretty sweet. Compared to others, they are the second cheapest slotted rotor that I could find (ATE at TireRack was cheapest) and they are made by a recognized brand

I've had awesome experience with EBC rotors and pads. I had them on my range rover. They made a huge difference over stock!

nice

Now I gotta decide if I need stainless lines or not. I had them on my Talon, but my stock brakes were terrible, so any upgrade would have been an improvement. I wonder if I'll notice it on my TT that has decent brakes to begin with?

I'm upgrading to Boxster calipers and SS lines...you can always improve on something

Stainless lines wont really help the braking on a street car, just a firmer peddle. As for the rotors, ebc makes some good stuff

EBC is good, had them on a 525i. As cincy said, the lines won't do much, make sure you bleed your brakes well and get all the air out and your brakes should be good.

I might pass on the lines. I guess I was correct in saying that stainless lines on my Talon only helped because ANYTHING would have been better than what I had

These new rotors should be good, and also look pretty sweet, with the black slotted pattern they have. I've never had GreenStuff pads, always stuck with Hawk, but I've heard good things about them

I have heard that for a street car all you really have to do to improve breaking is SS lines, and good pads. I need some new pads soon and was thinking about going with Hawk. What would you guys recommend?
