Default Engine Mounts?

The real problem with my downpipewasloose motor mounts. My new downpipe is installed right, but the motor mounts are loose cauing my engine to torque too much. How much of a job is it to replace the motor mounts on a 225quattro. Is this somethingI should bring in to a dealer to fix, or is this something I could do myself? How much will this cost doing it myself vs. a dealer?

the motor mounts are available through 42 draft designs

As far as I know you can do it yourself unless someone tells otherwise.

You most likely just need dogbone inserts. Not a hard job, should only take 20-30mins if you have an idea bout what you are doing. If you still want to do engine/tranny mounts, go to 034motorsports and get some street density mounts. Just dont get the dogbone mount from 034 since they charge you another $50 or so for the dogbone assembled and its a simple job.

Well you want the motor mounts from them and just get the dogbone inserts from either ECStuning or TTstuff and install those yourself. The engine mount holds the engine in place on the passanger side, the tranny mount holds the engine and tranny in place on the drivers side and the dogbone holds the tranny to the frame rail behind the engine to stop front to back movements.
