yesterday The EPC light came on i pulled over turned the car off check my boost lines and saw a small hole and fixed it. turned on the car and it was fine, today same thing happens what is it?????

 

if you have your owners manual it says it in there... I can't remember what it stands for.

 

Oh yeah and today right b4 the EPC light came on I was boosting at 13.5psi it was so sick for the 5mins lol

 

Do you have any throttle response when the EPC light comes on?

 

dont you just love the extra PSI boost?

If I pull to redline in 2nd my boost jumps to ~14psi from 5500-6500.

 

EPC is Electronic Power Control

Pretty sure Its a failsafe. Your ECU will drop your power if it thinks you're overboosting or overstressing engine to prevent damage. Usually it comes in conjunction with the limp mode symptoms... and it sometimes will come on if you lose traction and overspeed your wheels (will also get a ESP light with this one)

 

yeah i hit 13psi for 5 mins then the car barely boosted anything. Yeah 13psi is a gooodddd psi lol

 

 

if you chip your car you should be doing 15 psi (i know for my giac 91+ for sure) on a 180 TT K03(s). with the mbc should be able to do 20psi+ but limp mode is quite aggrevating i must say.
