Exaust quesion?
I did also have the resonator removed, I kind of figured it was normal considering it was removed, but i thought i would ask. My first thought was also the coils and plugs, but they are fairly new and gapped to .28.
I love the way the magnaflow muffler sounds, its mellow while cruising and opens up with an aggressive sound when WOT. I'll try to get a sound clip of it up later.

which magnaflow do you have.
the shop is havinga hard time getting one that'll fit. maybe
if i get one and just have them install it, that'll cut some of the cost through the middle man
so a majority is not running the resonator just the mufflet with a 3".
i tell you, it's noticeable difference. with the stock p/u is kinda slow, but with the set up i had it was a bit peppy. maybe because of the sound, it might have created a false sence of power?
what ya'll think?

I'm sure a 3/4 inch difference in exhaust would be noticible, not sure how much? I Have definitely noticed a difference with my exhaust setup though.
I'm not sure what the part number is on the muffler i got, but i have a 180 fwd so its just a single tip muffler. Not sure Which one you have. I had a full 3" exhaust with no cats/resonator on my 87 chrysler conquest, And man was it LOUD, but i loved it.

So What would be best for a stock turbo 2 1/2" or 3"

but 2 1/4?? sigh. i'd get ATLEAST a 2.5" cat back. epecially when getting a 3" DP... that 2 1/4" will bottle neck it~
